The Saxophone
The saxophone is a single reed, woodwind, brass instrument similar to the clarinet. Sound is produced when air is blown into a mouthpiece, causing the reed to vibrate. The saxophone is extremely versatile, making it very easy to incorporate into different genres of music. The saxophone is played by pressing different combinations of keys to produce different sounds.
